Screen Magnifier

A screen magnifier is a software or hardware tool that enlarges on-screen content, such as text, images, and graphics, to enhance visibility for individuals with visual impairments. It helps users by making digital content more accessible and legible, allowing them to navigate and interact with technology more effectively.

Screen Reader

A screen reader is assistive technology that converts on-screen text and content into synthesized speech or Braille, enabling visually impaired individuals to access and interact with digital devices, websites, and applications. It reads aloud or translates visual information into tactile formats, providing auditory or tactile cues for navigating the digital world independently.

Device support for the visually impaired involves providing technical assistance and accessibility features on various electronic devices, including smartphones, tablets, computers, and wearables. These services aim to make these devices more user-friendly by implementing features like screen readers, magnification tools, voice commands, and gesture controls, enabling visually impaired individuals to use and benefit from modern technology.

Students

Support for visually impaired students includes tailored educational accommodations such as Braille materials, screen readers, large-print textbooks, and assistive technology, ensuring equal access to curriculum and resources.
